There are two options for parking at the Gorge: regular parking and VIP parking. The main lot for regular parking normally opens at noon, but times may vary, depending on the event. Follow the signs and the parking staff when entering the main lot.
Concertgoers can upgrade to VIP parking for $28 per vehicle. VIP parking will guarantee a spot with easy access to and from the box office and main gates, and make it a lot easier to exit the area after the show.
Parking and camping on private property or on county roads leading to the venue is not allowed, by order of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.
To purchase VIP parking, visit Live Nation’s Gorge website.
Don’t plan on parking in either spot overnight, though, unless you want to be towed or get a hefty fine. You’re better off getting a camping spot if staying overnight.
Does parking vary by show? I heard Dave Matthews would be $80 and that astounds me.
People say you need a parking pass for entry to the event is this true?
What happens if you go without one?
“VIP Parking” costs money – 28 bucks. I think the $80 is the approximate amount for VIP parking for all three days of Dave Matthews. Parking information (directions, lot number, etc) should be on your concert ticket. Call 1-425-990-0222 (Live Nation’s Seattle office) for more information.

Is tailgating OK before the concerts in the main parking lot?
I’m sure it’s fine to hang out in the parking lot but you’re not supposed to drink.
According to Live Nation, county ordinances prohibit alcohol in the parking lot, and that “these laws will be strictly enforced.”
Are you able to bring in a picnic dinner for a concert or water?
are there any handicap parking available at the gorge?
We have tickets to Van Morrison and will be in the handicap section. My daughter will be in a wheelchair due to knee surgery. How do I access the handicap parking section and the handicap seating area?
Thank you
We paid the $28 for VIP parking for Van Morrison. Yes, we were closer to the entrance but it in NO way helped getting out of the mess! We were routed in with everyone else, sent east 7 miles to get back on the freeway to get back to Seattle.
I think this is a poor gimmick to rip the consumer off!
How much is regular parking?
I know you cant bring in hard sided ice chests and coolers but what about soft sided and if yes, what size is allowed?
Are chairs of any sort allowed in the GA section? I’m hoping the real low ones are
I know chairs are not allowed in GA,I have never been to the gorge, so I am wondering if you can bring chairs that are basically on the ground. Also do most people stand in GA, or is there a section where people sit on blankets?
They do typically allow the very low chairs in ga the ones that are barely off the ground. Most of the shows i’ve been to at the gorge everyone starts off sitting in blankets and stands for the good parts of the show.
Yes the low ones are allowed
yes the soft sided coolers are allowed but i have no clue if there is a size limit.
having never been to the gorge – when your ticket has a seat number – I am assuming you have an actual seat?
I just had the same experience at John Mayer/Keith Urban. I was told when I arrived that by buying VIP parking I would save 2 hours leaving. I did save time, but only because a couple of limo drivers found an alternate route. Otherwise, we would have been in the same backup – in fact, in a worse spot than most because we were at the end of the line (having parked so close to the gate). I’d like to follow up with someone at the Gorge or LiveNation to figure out what was supposed to happen and whether there is, in fact, any way to buy parking that will get you out earlier.
If you have VIP parking and club access…can you enter through the VIP entrance even if you are not actually parking a car in VIP parking?
If your ticket says General Admission or GA anywhere on it…you will not have an actual seat even if there is a seat #.
i understand you cannot park over night in the gorge lot. i have a friend who is bring a full car of people over who are camping at various sites at the campground. i am staying with her at premier camping. where can i park my car overnight?
We have a camp over camper on our truck, can we park in standard camping?
Can you park an RV in the VIP parking? Not staying overnight, but on my way to somewhere else after the concert.
Hi. Just wondering about how bad the traffic will be. We are planning to drive back to seattle after the show on friday to catch a 6am flight. Im a bit worried that we wont make it. What time does the DMb concert usually end? How bad is the traffic backup going out of the venue? Thank you!
is there parking for motorcycles?
